ICON Vehicle Dynamics – Top Plate Reinforcement Kit

Description

During durability testing on the 4th Gen Toyota Tacoma, ICON identified a weakness in the OE suspension: the front upper shock mount and shock stem bushing may fail under hard off-road use. This Top Plate Reinforcement Kit supports and reinforces the factory upper shock mount and will also capture and retain the shock stem bushing if a failure does occur. Installation takes just a few minutes without jacking up the vehicle. The kit does not affect or limit factory suspension operation or performance. ICON recommends this upgrade on any Tacoma driven vigorously off-road with OE front coilover shocks.
