Description

The HKS SLD Type 2 (4502-RA003) is an electronic device designed to eliminate the factory speed limiter on the Toyota Mark II. Specifically developed for vehicles with automatic transmissions, it allows the vehicle to exceed the factory speed limit during drag strip or circuit track competition. Unlike the SLD Type 1 intended for manual transmissions, Type 2 is optimized for automatic gearboxes. Simple installation between the vehicle harness and ECU. No permanent vehicle modification is required. Made by HKS, a pioneer of Japanese high-performance tuning since 1973 and the inventor of the first commercially available electronic turbo controller.
