Description

The BMC Replacement Air Filter (ref. FB740/20) is designed to replace the OEM paper filter in the air-box of BMW Series 1 (F20, F21), Series 2 (F22, F23, F87), Series 3 (F30, F31, F80), Series 3 GT (F34), Series 4 (F32, F33, F36, F82), and i8 (I12, I15) vehicles. Manufactured in Italy using the "Full Moulding" system with no welded joints, it features a multi-layer cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil and covered with an epoxy-coated alloy mesh. The oil's adhesive characteristic captures impurities down to 7 microns without restricting airflow. Washable and reusable with the BMC regeneration kit, it offers a lifespan equal to that of the vehicle, reducing maintenance costs and environmental waste. Achieves 98.5% filtration efficiency per ISO 5011 standard.
