The K&N replacement air filter (Part# 33-2287) is a washable, reusable high-flow cotton gauze panel filter designed to drop directly into the factory air box of compatible Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with the V8 5.4L engine (see Application section). It delivers superior airflow compared to standard paper filters while maintaining exceptional filtration efficiency to protect the engine. The filter arrives pre-oiled from the factory and is ready to install with no modifications required. Engineered to last the lifetime of your vehicle, it only needs periodic cleaning (approximately every 50,000 miles).
