Description

The CTS-IT-270R-1 from CTS Turbo is the largest air intake system available for the VW Golf R, Audi S3 8V, and Audi TTS 8S, designed exclusively for vehicles without SAI (Secondary Air Injection) and without a MAF sensor. The 3.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminum piping with black powder coating routes cold air directly to the engine through a 3.5-inch reusable inverted cone air filter, maximizing airflow. The sealed air box works in conjunction with the OEM air scoop to seamlessly force cold air into the intake system. 4-ply silicone connectors with stainless steel clamps and an anti-rattle bracket complete the kit. Peak power gains of 10-15HP are expected on an otherwise stock vehicle, with an aggressive race-inspired sound. Disabling the Soundaktor is recommended. Only compatible with vehicles without SAI and without a MAF sensor.
