Description

The Volant 19860 Cold Air Intake Kit is designed for the Ford Excursion, F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty equipped with the V8 6.0L Turbo Diesel engine. This high-performance system replaces the factory intake with an assembly that includes a closed filter box, an optimized air duct and the Primo filter specifically designed for severe-duty diesel applications. The filter is pleated between top and bottom aluminum screens and comes pre-oiled. The replacement filter is model 5152. The system is engineered for the highest airflow rate possible, necessary for a high-performance diesel engine, while offering a long filter life. It decreases intake air temperatures and increases the volume of cold air entering the engine. Bolt-on installation with no permanent modification required.
