Description

The Banks Power Ram-Air® Intake System (P/N 42249) is designed for Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L Duramax L5P Diesel engine. This system adds up to +20 hp to your Duramax – or combine with the Derringer inline tuner for a total gain of 81 hp. The new over-sized filter element, the largest in its class, protects the engine and outflows the competition. The enclosed housing keeps out hot, power-robbing engine air. More airflow increases the air-fuel ratio, allowing the engine to run leaner, reducing soot output, and decreasing the frequency between regens.
