Description

The Dinan High Flow Air Intake System (D760-0028) in carbon fiber is designed for the BMW M3 with V8 4.0L engine. The aircraft-quality prepreg carbon fiber connecting pipe offers 30% more cross-sectional area than stock, delivering maximum gains of +8 HP and +5 lbs.-ft. of torque. Carbon fiber and plastic were chosen as thermal insulators with reduced mass, allowing faster cooling than metal components and reducing heat soak. The Dinan integral high-flow divider plate engages directly into the stock airbox housing. A large free-flowing cotton gauze air filter ensures maximum airflow across the power band.
