Description

The Dinan High Flow Cold Air Intake System (D760-0047) visually and functionally transforms the engine compartment of BMW X5 M and X6 M. The carbon fiber lid with intricate detailing elevates underhood appearance to match the vehicle's sleek exterior lines. Functionally, Dinan custom filters replace the restrictive stock filters (89 sq. in.) with 292.4 sq. in. of filter area—a 228% increase. Dinan filters draw air from all around their surface area, unlike stock filters which only allow air intake from front and rear. The airbox volume is 15% larger than stock. Results: +23 HP at 5500 RPM and +25 lbs.-ft. of torque, with improved throttle response and a sportier tone. Bolt-on installation with included hardware kit. (See Application Section)
