Description

The QUANTUM intake system (P/N 53-10006R) from aFe POWER is engineered for the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD equipped with the V8-6.6L Duramax LML Turbo Diesel engine. This cold air intake system (patent pending) represents the latest in airflow technology for heavy-duty diesel trucks. The unique filter-to-housing interface, combined with the lightweight injection-molded base and top Pro 5R 5-layer pre-oiled cotton gauze filter, delivers dyno-proven performance gains. The CAD-designed XLPE rotomolded intake tube is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. The filter base features a built-in 3-angle velocity stack for even airflow. A silicone bellows coupling and quality stainless steel clamps provide a secure installation. This system replaces the factory intake and installs in minutes. Washable and reusable filter.
