Description

The QUANTUM intake system (P/N 53-10030D) from aFe POWER is engineered for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 equipped with the V8-5.3L or V8-6.2L engine. This cold air intake system (patent pending) features an oil-free Pro DRY S filter with a 5-inch flange and 3-layer synthetic media for maximum convenience. Its progressive layering provides great filtration efficiency. The durable sealed 5-rib industrial-style XLPE housing protects against impacts and extreme temperatures while showcasing aFe quality. The innovative filter-to-housing interface with 4 captive screws ensures a positive seal and easy installation. The CAD-designed, dyno-tuned XLPE tube maximizes airflow. This system delivers dyno-proven performance gains of up to +9 HP and +12 lb·ft of torque and requires minimal hardware.
