Description

The QUANTUM intake system (P/N 53-10030R) from aFe POWER is engineered for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 equipped with the V8-5.3L or V8-6.2L engine. This cold air intake system (patent pending) features a Pro 5R 5-layer pre-oiled cotton gauze filter for maximum flow and high performance. The durable sealed 5-rib industrial-style XLPE housing protects against impacts and extreme temperatures. The innovative filter-to-housing interface with 4 captive screws ensures a positive seal and easy installation. The CAD-designed, dyno-tuned XLPE tube maximizes airflow. The filter base includes a built-in 3-angle velocity stack for even airflow. A silicone bellows coupling and stainless steel clamps complete the installation. This system replaces the factory intake and installs in minutes. Washable and reusable filter.
