Description

The aFe POWER Momentum GT Cold Air Intake system (P/N 54-74204) is designed for the Chevrolet Camaro SS equipped with the V8-6.2L engine and electric steering. This high-performance cold air intake system outflows the factory intake by 19%. The custom CAD designed one-piece roto-molded housing made from heat soak resistant black cross-linked polyethylene eliminates the use of multiple components. A large clear sight window allows filter inspection without removal; a urethane plug is included to seal the auxiliary air inlet if desired. The CAD designed dyno-tuned roto-molded intake tube features a built-in resonance chamber to catch unwanted air intake noises. The cylindrical Pro 5R filter has a large oval (6-3/4" x 4-3/4") flange and stands 7" tall with an inverted top and 5-layer progressively finer mesh cotton gauze oiled media. Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps and a bellow silicone coupling provide a secure installation. Bolt-on, no cutting or drilling required.
