AIRAID – MXP Air Intake System

Description

The AIRAID MXP Air Intake System (P/N 200-270) is designed for Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Tahoe, Avalanche, Suburban as well as GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon, Yukon XL 1500 and Denali equipped with V8 4.8L, V8 5.3L, V8 6.0L and V8 6.2L engines (2009-2014). This system replaces the factory air intake with a one-piece roto-molded air box that addresses all shortcomings of the restrictive factory design. Housed inside is an AIRAID premium air filter made of cotton gauze and non-woven synthetic media, washable and reusable, providing outstanding airflow and filtration. Air is directed through a cross-linked high-density polyethylene (HDPE) intake tube, designed using extensive computer modeling to maintain proper mass air flow readings. The system incorporates fresh air ducting and provisions for the factory MAF sensor and PCV tube. Bolt-on installation requires no drilling and can be completed with standard hand tools. This system maintains proper air-to-fuel ratios, eliminating the need for recalibration after installation.
