Description

The AIRAID MXP Air Intake System 353-318 represents the ultimate in AIRAID cold air induction systems, delivering higher levels of horsepower and acceleration gains for high-performance vehicles. This system starts with a replacement one-piece roto-molded air box that addresses the shortcomings of the restrictive factory design. Housed inside is an AIRAID premium blue non-woven synthetic air filter for outstanding airflow and filtration. Air is directed through an intake tube constructed of cross-linked high-density polyethylene, designed using extensive computer modeling to maintain proper mass air flow readings and calibration. Many MXP systems feature a built-in velocity stack that further promotes airflow. The result is a simple-to-install yet extremely sophisticated system that increases airflow while maintaining proper air-to-fuel ratios, eliminating the need for recalibration. The filter is washable and reusable. Some configurations are CARB exempt (EO D-609-19) while others are not; check the application section to verify compliance for your specific vehicle.
