Description

The AIRAID MXP 401-293 Air Intake System represents the ultimate in cold air induction for your Ford F-150 V8 5.0L. This system delivers an impressive 19 HP gain at 3,775 RPM. It starts with a replacement one-piece roto-molded air box that addresses the shortcomings of the restrictive factory design. Housed inside is an AIRAID premium non-woven synthetic filter that is washable and reusable with no oil required, providing outstanding airflow and filtration. Air is directed through a new intake tube constructed of cross-linked high-density polyethylene, designed using extensive computer modeling to maintain proper mass air flow readings and calibration. The kit includes an inline airbox, air filter, and intake tube. The system installs easily with common tools and eliminates the need for recalibration after installation. Compatible with King Ranch, Lariat, Platinum, XL, XLT and SSV trim levels.
