Description

The AIRAID MXP Air Intake System represents the ultimate in AIRAID cold air induction systems, delivering superior horsepower and acceleration gains for high-performance vehicles. This system starts with a replacement one-piece roto-molded air box that addresses the shortcomings of the restrictive factory design. Housed inside is an AIRAID premium non-woven synthetic red air filter for outstanding airflow and filtration. Air is directed through a new intake tube constructed of cross-linked high-density polyethylene, designed using extensive computer modeling to maintain proper mass air flow readings and calibration. This simple-to-install yet extremely sophisticated system increases airflow while maintaining proper air-to-fuel ratios, eliminating the need for recalibration. Designed specifically for the Ford Mustang GT equipped with the V8 4.6L engine. An estimated gain of 8.11 HP at 5003 RPM improves performance. CARB approved and 50-state legal.
