Description

The Airaid MXP Air Intake System (453-204) represents the ultimate in Airaid cold air induction systems, designed for the Ford Mustang GT V8 4.6L. This complete system replaces the factory air box, air filter, and intake tubing with high-performance components delivering an estimated gain of 8.11 HP. The one-piece roto-molded air box addresses the shortcomings of the restrictive factory design. Inside is a blue non-woven synthetic air filter that is washable and reusable, providing outstanding airflow and filtration. The intake tube is constructed of cross-linked high-density polyethylene, designed using extensive computer modeling to maintain proper mass air flow readings and calibration. The mass air flow sensor is included. Installation is simple using common tools with no recalibration required. This system is CARB exempt (D-609-18) and street legal.
