The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake (MMAI-Z-23X) is designed for the Nissan Z equipped with the V6 3.0L Twin-Turbo VR30DDTT engine. Its unique convertible design allows quick switching between closed airboxes (25% restriction reduction) and open airboxes (up to 42% restriction reduction) for serious induction sound. Power gains of over 6 HP and 4.8 lb-ft of torque were measured with closed airboxes. Rotational-molded XLPE airboxes insulate intake air from engine bay heat, CNC-machined aluminum MAF housings ensure accurate readings on stock tune, and high-flow conical washable filters increase filtration area by 20%.
