Description

The Airaid MXP Air Intake System (part 454-172) represents the ultimate in Airaid's cold air induction systems, delivering superior horsepower and acceleration gains for select Ford Mustang V6 4.0L and V8 4.6L models. Some MXP versions include a one-piece roto-molded air box that addresses the shortcomings of the restrictive factory design. A premium Airaid air filter housed inside provides outstanding airflow and filtration. Air is directed through a new cross-linked, high-density polyethylene intake tube designed via computer modeling to maintain proper mass airflow readings and calibration. Simple bolt-on installation – no recalibration required. Not legal for sale or use in California.
