Description

The APR CI100024 carbon fiber back tube is designed for the APR Stage 2 intake system on Audi B8 platform vehicles equipped with the 3.0T engine. The OEM intake system includes resonators in the hose connecting the air box to the throttle body to reduce supercharger whine. In Stage 1 form, the APR air box alone delivers approximately 11 AWHP over stock. Adding the Stage 2 back pipe brings the total gain to approximately 15 AWHP while slightly increasing intake supercharger whine. Compatible with Audi vehicles equipped with V6 3.0L Supercharged, 3.0L Turbo Diesel, 3.2L and V8 4.2L engines (See Application Section), this component features bolt-on installation and includes all mounting hardware.
