Description

The APR CI100063 PEX open intake system delivers the best dollar-per-horsepower upgrade for EA211 1.0T and 1.5T engines. By removing flow restrictors and reducing pressure drop, it improves airflow by 113% (470 to 935 CFM), translating directly to +6 WHP and +10 WFT-LBS on the 1.5T. The 7 in. red cotton gauze filter with a 4 in. outlet is washable and reusable. The PEX housing integrates an organic heat shield that keeps hot radiator air away from the intake tract. Installation is plug-and-play in minutes with no ECU tuning required and no impact on emissions. Compatible with VW Jetta and Taos (See Application Section).
