Description

The APR CI100062 PEX open intake system offers the best dollar-per-horsepower upgrade for the EA211 1.4T engine. By removing flow restrictors and reducing pressure drop, the system improves airflow by 44% (509 to 730 CFM), translating directly to +8 WHP and +11 WFT-LBS. The 7 in. red cotton gauze filter with 4 in. outlet is washable and reusable. The black PEX housing integrates an organic heat shield that keeps hot radiator air away from the intake tract. Plug-and-play installation in minutes with no ECU tuning required and no impact on emissions. Compatible with VW Golf, Golf SportWagen, and Jetta (See Application Section).
