Description

The Rapid Induction cold air intake system from aFe POWER with Pro 5R filter is designed for the Volkswagen Golf GTI (MK VIII) L4 2.0T. This 7-inch tall pre-oiled 360-degree radial flow performance air filter features five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance and the highest power gains available from aFe filter options. A one-piece 3-inch mandrel-bent wrinkle-black powder-coated aluminum intake tube directs unrestricted airflow from the massive filter to the turbo for more horsepower and torque. The 18-gauge steel wrinkle-black powder-coated heat shield mounts on top of the lower half of the factory airbox for a hassle-free bolt-on installation utilizing factory mounting locations. Premium hardware and clamps securely mount the high-flow air filter and intake tube. (See Application Section)
