K&N – FIPK Performance Air Intake System

Description

The K&N FIPK 57-3077 performance air intake system is designed for the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD / 3500 HD equipped with the V8 6.6L Turbo Diesel engine. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, virtually eliminating air restriction to deliver a guaranteed power gain. Dyno-tested, it produces an estimated gain of 19.34 HP at 2420 RPM. The kit uses a non-metallic high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotational molded tube with an integrated heat shield, reducing intake air temperature and lowering noise. The included K&N air filter is washable and reusable (replacement filter: RC-5179). Installation is straightforward and typically completed in 90 minutes or less.
