K&N – Performance Air Intake System

Description

The K&N 77-3086KTK Series 77 air intake system is designed for Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD / 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD / 3500 HD equipped with the V8 6.0L engine. This system replaces the factory air filter and entire air path with a black mandrel-bent aluminum tube, reducing restriction and maximizing airflow to the engine. It comes with an oversized K&N High-Flow conical air filter providing increased surface area and superior dust capacity, allowing up to 100,000 miles between servicing. The filter is washable and reusable. Dyno-tested, it produces an estimated gain of 9.54 HP at 4950 RPM. The system works with original equipment manufacturer computer systems. Installation is easy, typically in 90 minutes or less. Replacement filter is RU-1041. Some applications are CARB exempt (EO: D-269-61).
