K&N – Performance Air Intake System

Description

The K&N 77-2575KS Series 77 air intake system is designed for the Ford Explorer equipped with the V6 3.5L engine. This system replaces the factory air filter and entire air path with a silver mandrel-bent aluminum tube, reducing restriction and maximizing airflow to the engine. It comes with an oversized K&N High-Flow conical air filter providing increased surface area and superior dust capacity, allowing up to 100,000 miles between servicing. The filter is washable and reusable. Dyno-tested, it produces an estimated gain of 13.55 HP at 5500 RPM. The system works with original equipment manufacturer computer systems and includes a heat shield to isolate the intake from engine heat. Installation is easy, typically in 90 minutes or less. The replacement filter is the RF-1048. Protected by K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.
