Description

The K&N Typhoon air intake system 69-6030-1TFK is specifically designed for the Mazda RX-8 equipped with the R2 1.3L rotary engine. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, delivering a guaranteed power gain. The mandrel-bent aluminum tube with flat black powder coat finish provides low restriction while maximizing airflow to the engine. The oversized K&N conical air filter increases surface area and dust capacity. Dyno-proven, this kit delivers an estimated gain of 11.15 HP at 8660 RPM. The filter is washable and reusable, eliminating the need for frequent replacements. Protected by the K&N Lifetime Limited Warranty.
