K&N – Typhoon Performance Air Intake System

Description

The K&N Typhoon air intake system 69-8001TWR is designed for the Subaru WRX and WRX STi equipped with the H4 2.5L Turbo flat engine. This mandrel-bent aluminum tube system with Wrinkle Red finish replaces the factory intake with a high-performance assembly that optimizes airflow to the turbocharged boxer engine. The oversized K&N conical air filter increases surface area and dust capacity, allowing superior airflow at lower restriction. Dyno-proven, this kit delivers an estimated gain of 15.85 HP at 5050 RPM, significantly improving horsepower and torque. The system is CARB exempt (EO D-269-37). The filter is washable and reusable. Protected by the K&N Lifetime Limited Warranty.
