Description

The K&N Aircharger high performance intake system (part number 63-9034) is designed for the Toyota 4Runner and FJ Cruiser equipped with the V6 4.0L engine. This kit replaces the restrictive factory air filter and complete intake housing to allow virtually unrestricted airflow to the engine. The non-metallic rotational molded tube reduces intake air temperature and lowers induction noise compared to conventional metal tubing. Dyno-tested and tuned to improve acceleration and engine sound, it is built from high-strength materials including silicone and reinforced nylon. The included air filter is washable and reusable, reducing long-term maintenance costs. Installation requires no permanent modifications and is typically completed in 90 minutes or less.
