Description

The K&N FIPK high performance intake system (part number 57-1571, 57 Series) is designed for the Ram 1500 and Ram 1500 Classic equipped with the V6 3.0L Turbo Diesel engine. This kit replaces the restrictive factory air filter and complete air box to optimize airflow to the turbocharged diesel engine. The non-metallic roto-molded tube reduces intake air temperature and lowers induction noise. The kit includes a heat shield. Engineered to fit the precise specifications of the vehicle, it is guaranteed to increase horsepower and improve acceleration. Built from high-strength materials including silicone and reinforced nylon. The included air filter is washable and reusable. Installation requires no permanent modifications and is typically completed in 90 minutes or less. California Air Resources Board Exempt (CARB EO: D-269-72).
