Description

The AIRAID MXP Cold Air Intake System (P/N 450-265) is designed for the Ford Mustang equipped with the V6 3.7L engine. This system replaces the factory air intake with an aerodynamically engineered high-density polyethylene or carbon fiber intake tube, optimizing airflow to the engine while reducing turbulence. The low-restriction 3D synthetic air filter is washable and reusable, providing superior filtration and enhanced protection against contaminants. The kit includes a heat deflector that shields the filter from hot under-hood air. Bolt-on installation requires no drilling and can be completed in under 90 minutes with standard hand tools. This system helps maintain proper air-to-fuel ratios, eliminating the need for recalibration after installation.
