Description

The Volant MaxFlow 5 Air Intake System (P/N 12856) is designed for the Nissan Armada, Titan and Infiniti QX56 equipped with the V8 5.6L engine. This kit replaces the factory air intake with a Cross-Link polyethylene box that insulates the filter from engine heat, moisture and debris. The oversized air duct eliminates restrictive factory baffles to maximize airflow velocity and throttle response. The Donaldson®-manufactured PowerCore® filter delivers filtration efficiency up to 99.97%, is water resistant and never needs oiling. High-performance silicone connectors and marine-grade stainless steel clamps complete the assembly for a lasting seal. This system is designed to increase the volume of cold air entering the engine for improved horsepower and overall vehicle response.
