Description

The CTS Turbo air intake kit (part# CTS-IT-166-B) is designed for the BMW X1 and X2 equipped with B38 and B48 engines. The OEM airbox works in conjunction with the CTS heatshield for seamless fitment and performance. The 5″ high-flow cone air filter with 3″ inlet maximizes airflow for better throttle response and improved power. Gains of 9–15 HP are achievable, with further gains from Stage 1 or Stage 2 tuning. Mandrel-bent MAF housings ensure optimized airflow. The slotted heat shield provides great turbo sounds to enjoy in Sport mode. You will notice a great improvement in bottom-end torque and mid-range power. See Application Section for detailed fitment.
