Description

The K&N FIPK High Performance Air Intake System (part# 57-2591) is engineered specifically for the Ford F-150 with the V8 5.0L engine. This kit replaces the factory air box and the entire air path to the engine, virtually eliminating airflow restrictions that limit performance. The 57 Series high density polyethylene (HDPE) tube with heat shield helps isolate the intake from engine heat and optimize air density. Compared to metallic tubes, this non-metallic tube reduces intake air temperature and decreases intake noise. The oversized high-flow conical filter is washable and reusable, lasting up to 100,000 miles between service intervals. Compatible with OEM computer systems. CARB compliant (EO D-269-64).
