Description

The Rugged Ridge Modular XHD Snorkel Kit (ref. 17756.21) is designed for the Jeep Wrangler JK 3.6L 2012-2018. The patented XHD system relocates the stock air intake to help reduce the risk of engine hydro-locking during water crossings and dust-clogged filters on dusty trails. The kit comes standard with the pre-filter low mount (air intake just below the windshield) and includes the optional high-mount ram design that extends the air intake an additional 21 in. to the top of the windshield. Both mounts are easily interchangeable. Built-in manual drain valves channel away excess water. Made from premium thermoformed plastic, mandrel bent aluminum, and hi-temp silicone connection hoses. Installs with minor fender modification only; no major cutting required. Compatible with folding windshield, removed doors, and windshield light bars. Patents D687,071 and D687,072.
