The Firestone Ride-Rite® Air Helper Spring Kit (ref. 2286) is designed to improve load-carrying capacity, stability, and ride quality for light trucks. This rear system requires no drilling and uses the vehicle's factory holes to mount between the frame and suspension. The air helper springs provide adjustable load support through air pressure that can be tuned to match varying loads. Individual inflation valves allow separate left and right adjustment to keep the vehicle level even when carrying off-center loads. The complete kit includes all components needed for a straightforward installation, typically completed in 1 to 2 hours. Specifically designed for the Ram 1500, this kit reduces bottoming out, decreases suspension fatigue, and increases overall vehicle stability. Backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
