Upgrading to an EBC 2-piece floating disc shaves crucial kilograms off the vehicle's unsprung rotational mass, leading to sharper turn-in, improved tyre road-holding, better fuel economy and an increase in BHP at the wheels. When the cast iron friction ring wears out, only the outer ring needs replacing — the centre hub and stainless bobbins can be reused, reducing long-term running costs.
