Description

The GiroDisc rear 2-piece floating rotors (ref. A2-179) are a direct replacement for the OEM rear disc on the Volkswagen Golf R MK7. The central hat is made from strictly U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-specification aluminum, while the disc is cast from GiroDisc’s proprietary cast iron, poured and machined in-house in the USA. The rotor features 48 curved directional vanes developed in racing for active cooling. The floating mount system uses cadmium-plated alloy steel drive pins with anti-noise spring washers. Compatible with OE calipers, maintains factory brake bias and ABS efficiency. Sold as a pair (2 discs).
