GiroDisc – Rear 2-Piece Floating High Performance Rotors

Description

The GiroDisc rear 2-piece floating rotors (ref. A2-185) are a direct replacement for the OEM brake discs on the Subaru STI. The hat is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, and the disc from proprietary cast iron poured and machined in the USA. The rotor features 48 curved directional vanes for active cooling. The floating mount system with cadmium-plated alloy steel drive pins allows self-centering and eliminates cold noise. Compatible with OE calipers, maintains factory brake bias and ABS efficiency.

⚠ Important Note: For the 2018-2021 STI, brake pad modification is required. Due to a lack of clearance between the bottom edge of the brake pad and where the parking brake starts, the only way to use a two-piece rotor is with a modified brake pad.
