The Edelbrock #1400 Performer Series 600 CFM electric choke carburetor is precisely tuned for consistent, reliable street performance. Its two-piece all-aluminum body resists warping and is compatible with gasoline, gasohol, and blended fuels (E10, not E85). Metering rods transition between circuits — no power valves to blow out. The carburetor holds a tune over time, keeping calibration consistent. Simple tub-type bowls and rear-pivot floats ensure reliable, user-friendly operation. Emissions legal for 1980 and older non-feedback GM V8s (Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick, GMC, Pontiac, Oldsmobile). EGR port. May require adapter plate #2696.
