The CTS Turbo Cat-Back Exhaust System (part# CTS-EXH-CB-0001) is specifically engineered for the Volkswagen Golf GTI MK5 with the 2.0T engine. CTS Turbo has been dedicated to manufacturing performance parts for enthusiasts by enthusiasts since its inception, and this exhaust system exemplifies that dedication. Developed based on their own 500+ HP MK5 GTI build, this true 3" cat-back exhaust system is hand TIG welded using the finest T304 stainless steel. Other MK5 GTI exhausts available on the market in 2.5" configurations choke peak power and limit engine breathing — a limitation the CTS Turbo 3" design eliminates entirely. Water jet cut flanges ensure a precise, leak-free fit at every connection point, while CNC mandrel-bent stainless piping maximizes exhaust flow velocity. Polished stainless steel exhaust tubing delivers a premium appearance under the vehicle. The sound is aggressive during spirited driving but remains subtle and refined during normal cruising, making this system perfectly suited for daily use and track sessions alike.
