Description

The CTS Turbo Turbo-Back Exhaust System (part# CTS-EXH-TB-0001) is a complete 3" downpipe and cat-back exhaust system specifically engineered for the Volkswagen Golf GTI MK5 2.0T. Hand TIG welded using the finest seamless T304 stainless steel, this system outperforms other MK5 GTI exhausts available in 2.5"/2.75" configurations that choke peak power and restrict exhaust gas flow. The CTS 3" seamless T304 stainless steel downpipe replaces the factory downpipe, improves turbo spool-up, and increases peak power output. The larger 3" diameter reduces turbulence at the turbo and wastegate exit, delivering more power and torque across the entire power band. Water jet cut flanges and CNC mandrel-bent stainless piping ensure a precise fit and optimal exhaust flow throughout the system. Adjustable 3" exhaust tips and polished stainless tubing provide a premium finish. Note: proper ECU tuning software is required to remove the CEL that will occur. CTS Turbo recommends choosing a high-flow cat for environmental responsibility.
