The CTS Turbo Turbo-Back Exhaust System (part# CTS-EXH-TB-0006-3) is a complete 3" downpipe and cat-back exhaust system engineered for the Volkswagen Jetta GLI MK6 Gen 3 equipped with the 1.8T/2.0T TSI EA888.3 engine. Hand TIG welded using the finest T304 stainless steel, this system surpasses other MK6 Gen 3 Jetta exhausts available in 2.5"/2.75" configurations that choke peak power and restrict engine breathing. Each CTS Gen 3 downpipe is 100% TIG welded from seamless T304 stainless steel and replaces the factory downpipe, improving turbo spool-up and peak power output. The larger 3" diameter reduces turbulence at the turbo and wastegate exit, delivering more power and torque across the full power band. CNC-cut V-band flanges provide robust, leak-free connections, while CNC mandrel-bent stainless piping optimizes exhaust gas flow. Adjustable 3" exhaust tips and polished stainless tubing deliver a premium look. The sound is aggressive under hard driving but subtle during cruising. Note: stage 2 ECU software is required to avoid a check engine light.
