The HKS Legal Impreza 09Spec 31013-BF001 is a 409 stainless steel cat-back exhaust system designed for the Subaru WRX Impreza. This road-legal muffler features a single rear exit with a main tubing diameter of 2.95 inches. The tip is a DR-style stainless steel piece with a 4.17-inch outlet diameter, and the finish is coated. Unlike Race Only products, this system is approved for everyday road use. The sound is moderate, suited for regular use while adding a subtle sporty character. Developed with a racer in mind, this system improves the power and sound of the WRX. HKS pioneered the Japanese aftermarket performance industry by introducing the first commercially available electronic turbo timers and piggy-back fuel management computers.
