South Bend Clutch – Stage 2 Clutch Kit (No Flywheel)

Description

The South Bend Clutch 1944-6OR-HD Stage 2 clutch kit is engineered for Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with the V8 7.3L Turbo Diesel and a 6-speed manual transmission. Sold without flywheel, available in Stage 2 Daily, Stage 2 Endurance, and Stage 2 Drag configurations.

Stage 2 Daily: Designed for HP modifications. The heavy-duty pressure plate delivers increased clamp load with little to no added pedal effort. The organic disc high metal content doubles the friction coefficient vs. stock and resists up to 12,000 RPM burst. Retains a stock-like feel. Recommended use: daily and moderate racing.

Stage 2 Endurance: Precision-balanced pressure plate for vibration-free high-RPM operation. Hybrid Feramic full face disc on the flywheel side, high metal organic on the pressure plate side. An SFI-approved single mass flywheel is recommended. Recommended use: daily/street, rally and endurance racing.

Stage 2 Drag: Ultra-heavy-duty pressure plate with a puck-style disc (no cushion) for short, rapid clutch pedal travel. Graphite-impregnated ceramic friction material. Recommended use: drag racing, drifting, limited street use.
