The South Bend Clutch Stage 3 Daily K70287-SS-O-SMF is designed for 1.8T engine vehicles fitted with a single-mass flywheel (SMF) when the OE flywheel is a dual-mass unit (DMF). It features a Race Engineered stainless steel pressure plate, SFI approved, delivering 600-800 lb more clamp load than the stock clutch for a 20-25% increase in pedal effort. The disc uses a high-performance organic, high-metallic friction material, offering an excellent balance of durability and torque capacity for daily driving on high-power vehicles.
