Description

The South Bend Clutch Stage 4 kit (part # SDD3250-6) is a custom-built clutch system for vehicles with power modifications exceeding Stage 3 parameters. The Race Engineered pressure plate is optimized for maximum clamp load. Puck-style discs are available in sintered iron and graphite-impregnated ceramic friction materials. Engagement can be abrupt — hydraulic systems may require upgrading. The SBC flywheel uses low-carbon hot-rolled steel, highly resistant to warping, with precision single-mount CNC machining exceeding OE specs. Input shaft diameter: 1.375 in., 10 splines. Fitment: Ram 2500/3500 5.9L Turbo Diesel, manual transmission (See Application Section).
