EXEDY – Racing Stage 2 Clutch Kit

Description

The EXEDY 04950 Racing Stage 2 clutch kit is aimed at modified 2.2L and 2.4L Ecotec engines, notably boosted Cobalt SS builds whose torque exceeds stock clutch capacity. The cerametallic disc tolerates far more heat before slipping, and the pressure plate develops roughly 40% more clamp load than the OEM unit.

In exchange, engagement is sharper than a Stage 1 setup — the normal trade-off on a track or drag oriented car. SFI 1.1 certified. Fits the Chevrolet Cobalt, Cobalt SS and HHR as well as the Pontiac G5 L4 2.2L and 2.4L.
