Description

The Clutch Masters FX400 clutch kit (p/n 17036-HDC6) is engineered for extreme duty street and competition applications on Volkswagen vehicles. It features a Hi-Leverage™ pressure plate with a sprung 6-puck ceramic disc, delivering outstanding holding capacity and rapid heat dissipation. The 6-puck paddle design provides quick, positive engagement while the sprung hub offers moderate dampening over rigid designs. Compatible with VW Golf MK4, Golf GTI, Jetta 2.8L 5-speed, and Passat 1.9L–2.8L. Complete kit includes disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing (when applicable), and alignment tool. Note: ceramic discs are designed to increase holding capacity, not clutch life expectancy.
